MKM Nails is a Non-Toxic Nail Studio based in Santa Monica, California. MKM Nails works with some of the best professional brands in the industry. We provide a personalized, high end services for our clients.

We are hiring a Nail Apprentice, with experience in nail art that is dedicated to customer service to join our team. We will provide paid training as you work your way up to a Nail Artist!

Qualifications:

Must be least 18 years old to apply
Currently studying for CA Manicurist/Cosmetology License (or scheduled for the State Board. Please note you will not be able to perform services until license is acquired)
Able to service a polish manicure and simple nail art i.e. French Manicure/ Half moons within an hr
Able to perform a basic polish pedicure within 45 minutes

Responsibilities will include:

Attend training sessions and complete assignments
Work on Press-on Orders
Serve drinks to clients
Assist in setup for artist & seating clients
Wipe down stations in-between services
Stock drawers, setups & wipe down gel polish bottles
Wash, dry & fold towels
Pack event bag, assist/work off-site events
Help with Inventory
Take photos/videos of service and after photos
Assist with booking, confirming and checking out clients

Reimbursement for license renewal, or Initial license based on tenure
Paid ticket to Nail Shows
Paid training

Job Types: Part-time with possibility to increase (Must be available on Saturdays)

Pay: $16 per hour
