Hello, I'm Mallory Mazer, the proud owner and founder of MKM NAILS. With a diverse and rich background in the beauty industry, I’ve had the pleasure of working as a licensed manicurist in various high-profile settings, including set work, celebrity engagements, and exclusive events. As a Leafgel Educator, I've also had the privilege of training aspiring nail technicians and sharing my knowledge and passion for nail art and care.
Beyond my hands-on experience, I have a history of working on the corporate side of beauty. I served as an executive for a company that managed multiple beauty service brands across major cities like NYC, Chicago, and Atlanta. This role allowed me to gain invaluable insights into the business side of beauty, including operations, marketing, and client management.
After relocating to Los Angeles, CA, I decided to open my own private nail studio focusing on my client's nail health by helping them grow out their natural nails with high-end non-toxic structured manicures. Starting from scratch, I built a loyal client base and was fully booked within four months.
In addition to my practical experience, I hold an MBA, which has further enhanced my understanding of business principles and strategies. Over the years, I have invested thousands of dollars in various courses to refine my skills and knowledge. I’ve also learned from my own experiences and mistakes, and now, I’m excited to share my learnings with my fellow nail pros.
